Easy Post Workout Smoothie

Nothing like a hard workout to make your post workout food intake that much more enjoyable! This is what I whipped up today and it was delicious.

  • 1 cup light soy milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 scoop protein powder. (I use BodyLogix Strawberry Banana)

Blend it all together in a blender. Viola!

This smoothie contain a good amount of protein, 31g, but a low amount of carbs at only 19g. I ate a banana on the side, but you my want to mix the banana right into the smoothie to give you an extra 30-35 grams of carbs.
